day 322. 12.23.2010. today officially marks the start of my holiday staycation! i took a half-day at work today, so i could go to a good friend’s mimosa brunch with a group of people. it was so great getting a bunch of us together, since a lot of people were home for the holidays. the hostess’ dad is an artist and an amazing carpenter - he redesigned and handmade all of their wood kitchen cabinets. this was one of his pieces they have on display in their house that i was instantly drawn to. ps. picking up ash tonight from the airport and couldn’t be more excited!!
